Department of Social Welfare is collaborating with Dastak Charitable Trust and Shaikh Ahmad Hassan School of Law at LUMS to hold a consultation of legal experts on the Punjab Protection of Women Against violence Act. The consultation will pave way for drafting a holistic set of Standard Operating Procedures for the uniform implementation of the act all across Punjab. Director General Social Welfare Department, Mr. Muddassir Riaz Malik, headed the technical session on the effective and efficient of District Women Protection Committees.
