Nutrition Awareness Camp

A nutrition awareness camp was organized at the Social Welfare Complex Township. The purpose of the camp was to promote awareness about nutrition and its importance in maintaining good health. The camp aimed to educate the residents of the institution on healthy eating habits, balanced diet, and the impact of nutrition on overall well-being. As part of the camp, a health evaluation test was conducted for the residents. The test included various assessments such as body mass index (BMI) calculation, blood pressure measurement, cholesterol level check, and other relevant health parameters. The purpose of these evaluations was to understand the current health status of the residents and identify any potential nutritional deficiencies or health concerns. Qualified healthcare professionals, nutritionists, and dieticians were present at the camp to guide the residents and provide personalized advice on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. They offered recommendations on appropriate dietary choices, portion control, and the importance of regular exercise.
