Mr. Mehr Muhammad Hayat Lak, Secretary SW&BM chaired review meeting of Divisional Directors of the Punjab in the Committee Room of the office of Secretary Social Welfare Lahore. Director General Social Welfare Muhammad Ahmed and Provincial Directors were also present. Director P&E gave detailed presentation on ADP schemes. The Divisional Directors shared updated progress of ongoing schemes and new development schemes. The Secretary SW&BM directed to maximize the utilization in schemes and passed special instructions to complete construction and renovation work of specially residential related schemes. A comprehensive action plan also drawn up to improve the department's performance in the coming year. The Secretary SW&BM also emphasized that Social Welfare Department is the axis of social service, where the welfare of destitute women, poor, elderly and special persons should be our first priority
