The 7th meeting of the Provincial Steering Committee for Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s "Dhee Rani Program" was held at the Directorate General of Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal Punjab. The meeting was chaired by Provincial Minister Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal, Mr. Sohail Shaukat Butt. Participants included Secretary Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Punjab, Mr. Javed Akhtar Mahmood, Director General, Mr. Tariq Qureshi senior officers from the Social Welfare Department and representatives from various government departments. Divisional Commissioners attended the meeting virtually via video link. The session featured in-depth discussions on the budget and administrative framework for organizing Dhee Rani Program events during the upcoming financial year 2025–26. A proposed calendar of events was also presented for consideration. Speaking at the occasion, Minister Sohail Shaukat Butt emphasized that the Dhee Rani Program represents a vital initiative for the welfare and empowerment of underprivileged girls across Punjab. He reiterated the government’s commitment to executing the program with transparency and strategic planning. The Minister also directed officials to ensure the inclusion of girls from minority communities in future events. He commended the outstanding efforts of the Social Welfare Department, district administrations, police, and partner departments for the successful execution of the current year’s Dhee Rani Program.
