Ben Warrington, Head of the Lahore Office of the British High Commission, visited the Directorate General of Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Punjab. During the visit, he met with Sohail Shaukat Butt, the Provincial Minister Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal. Javed Akhtar Mahmood, Secretary Social Welfare, and Khawaja Muhammad Sikandar Zishan, Director General Social Welfare, were also present. The Provincial Minister provided Mr. Warrington in-depth briefing on the department’s initiatives. Mr. Warrington commended the efforts of the Punjab Government in improving welfare services through the Department of Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal.
