Under the CM Punjab Assistive Devices & Wheelchair (ADWC) Program, the Department of Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal organized distribution ceremonies in five districts Khushab, Rawalpindi, Gujrat, Mandi Bahauddin, and Nankana Sahib to provide free assistive devices to persons with disabilities. A diverse range of essential equipment, including wheelchairs, white canes, prosthetic limbs, walkers, mobile toilet chairs, and crutches, was distributed to support mobility and independence. These events were attended by elected representatives, district officials, and civil society members. Beneficiaries and their families expressed sincere appreciation to Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif and Minister for Social Welfare Sohail Shaukat Butt for this impactful initiative, recognizing it as a key step toward inclusion, empowerment, and improved quality of life for persons with disabilities across the province.
