Under the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif and the directives of Provincial Minister for Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Sohail Shaukat Butt, the Department of Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal Punjab organized assistive devices distribution ceremonies in Sargodha and Pakpattan. In Sargodha, 20 wheelchairs were distributed at the District Council Hall in the presence of MNA Mian Ikram-ul-Haq and department officials. In Pakpattan, 65 assistive devices—including wheelchairs, crutches, walking sticks, and a digital hearing aid—were distributed at a ceremony attended by local MPAs, district officers, and community members. These efforts reflect the government’s commitment to empowering persons with disabilities as active and dignified members of society.
