Under the CM Punjab "Assistive Devices Wheelchair Program", assistive devices distribution ceremonies were held in Sahiwal and Chakwal (Talagang) to support and empower persons with disabilities. In Sahiwal, the event at Divisional Public School featured the distribution of 46 wheelchairs, 77 white canes, 2 walking frames, 4 mobile toilets, 7 elbow crutches, and 1 hearing aid. The ceremony was graced by Members of the Provincial Assembly, senior government officials, and a large number of citizens who appreciated the government’s inclusive initiatives. In Chakwal (Talagang), Member of Provincial Assembly Malik Falak Sher Awan served as the chief guest, where 32 individuals received assistive devices. These ceremonies highlighted the Punjab Government’s commitment, under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, to ensuring a dignified and inclusive society for persons with disabilities. Beneficiaries and their families expressed deep gratitude for the government’s continued support and care.
