Under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the second phase of the "Dhee Rani Program" continues to uplift underprivileged families through state-sponsored mass weddings. In Bahawalpur, 75 deserving couples—including one Hindu and one Christian couple—were married in a graceful ceremony, while in Lodhran, 61 couples tied the knot. Each couple received financial support of PKR 222,000, including salami and wedding gifts. Secretary Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Punjab, Javed Akhtar Mahmood, along with district administration and departmental officers, participated in the events. These ceremonies reflect the Punjab Government’s strong commitment to social welfare, inclusion, and support for deserving families.
