Under the second phase of the CM Punjab Dhee Rani Program, weddings of 48 couples took place in Faisalabad, including 36 Muslim and 5 Christian couples from Faisalabad and 7 couples from Chiniot. In Jhang, 86 marriages were held for couples from Jhang and Toba Tek Singh. Each newlywed couple received a support package worth Rs. 222,000—comprising Rs. 100,000 as salami and Rs. 122,000 for household items via ATM card—along with bridal and groom dresses, artificial jewelry, a warm meal, and cultural performances including qawwali and traditional jhoomar. The events were graced by local politicians, parliamentarians, district administration, and officers of the Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal Department.
