Under the flagship program of the Government of Punjab, the Department of Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal Punjab is organized special distribution ceremonies across various districts to provide assistive devices to persons with disabilities. The initiative aims to ease their daily lives, promote independence, and ensure their inclusion in society. Ceremonies held in districts including Okara, Dera Ghazi Khan, and Bahawalpur witnessed the distribution of dozens of assistive devices such as wheelchairs, walkers, and crutches to deserving individuals. Beneficiaries and their families expressed heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif and Provincial Minister for Social Welfare Sohail Shaukat Butt, terming the initiative a revolutionary step toward the welfare and empowerment of persons with disabilities.
