In the grand ceremony, 43 collective marriages were held in Bahawalpur under Chief Minister Punjab Ms. Maryam Nawaz Sharif's Dhee Rani Program. The event was attended by Provincial Minister for Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal Sohail Shaukat Butt, Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Zaheer Iqbal Channar, Provincial Minister for Mines and Minerals Sher Ali Gorchani, Secretary Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Javed Akhtar Mehmood and other distinguished guests. Among the newlywed couples, two were Christian couples, and one couple included persons with disabilities. On behalf of Chief Minister Punjab Ms. Maryam Nawaz Sharif, all couples were given gifts and a 100,000 salami through the Dhee Rani Program Salami Card.
