Under Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif's "Dhee Rani Program Phase II," a mass wedding ceremony was held for 120 deserving couples from Lahore Division. The event was organized by the Department of Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Mal Punjab. Provincial Minister for Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Mal, Sohail Shaukat Butt, attended as the chief guest. Couples from Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, and Nankana Sahib—including one differently-abled and six Christian couples—received a Salami Card worth Rs. 222,000 each. The Minister shared that 3,000 weddings will be completed by April 28, with plans to expand the program to 5,000 couples next year.
