CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif launched the Dhee Rani Programme, a major initiative organized by the Social Welfare Department to support underprivileged families across Punjab. At the launch, 51 couples, including those from minority communities, were married in a grand ceremony promoting unity and harmony. Each couple was given Rs. 1 lakh salami and essential household items through the newly introduced Dhee Rani Card. With a Rs. 1 billion budget, the programme aims to help 3,000 families , showcasing the Punjab government's commitment to social welfare and empowering vulnerable communities.
