Under Phase 2 of the Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif's "Dhee Rani Program," a mass wedding ceremony was held in Rawalpindi for 97 deserving couples from Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, and Murree. Provincial Ministers Sohail Shaukat Butt and Bilal Akbar Khan attended the event as chief guests. Each couple received Rs. 100,000 as "salami" and Rs. 120,000 for furniture, provided via ATM cards. The program aims to reduce social inequality and support low-income families across Punjab through such welfare initiatives.
