Under the Chief Minister Punjab Dhee Rani Program – Phase 3, a grand mass wedding ceremony was organized in Sheikhupura. A total of 150 couples, including 142 Muslim and 8 Christian couples, entered into the bond of marriage with dignity and joy. Provincial Minister for Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Punjab Sohail Shaukat Butt attended the ceremony as the chief guest and distributed Salami Cards worth Rs. 200,000 among the newlywed couples. He also conveyed the Chief Minister’s heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all the couples. The event was also attended by Secretary Social Welfare Javed Akhtar Mahmood, Deputy Commissioner Sheikhupura Shahid Imran Marth, along with political and social figures, government officials, and families of the brides and grooms.
