Under the Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s “Punjab Dhee Rani Program – Phase III,” a grand mass wedding ceremony was held in Rawalpindi, where 84 deserving couples from Rawalpindi, Murree, and Jhelum began a new journey of life — including one Christian and one differently-abled couple. Each couple received PKR 200,000 as Salami from the Chief Minister. Provincial Ministers Sohail Shaukat Butt and Bilal Akbar Khan graced the ceremony, while MNA Tahira Aurangzeb, other parliamentarians, Secretary Social Welfare Javed Akhtar Mahmood, and departmental officers also attended.
