Under the Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif " Punjab Dhee Rani Program" (Phase III), a grand mass wedding ceremony was organized in Gujranwala . Provincial Minister for Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Punjab, Sohail Shaukat Butt, attended the event as the chief guest. A total of 165 deserving couples, including 17 Christian couples, were married during the ceremony. On behalf of the Chief Minister, each couple received PKR 200,000 through Salami cards. Parents and newlywed couples thanked Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and Minister Sohail Shaukat Butt for this generous initiative, calling it a great example of people-friendly welfare programs. The event was attended by members of the National and Provincial Assemblies, Secretary Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Punjab Javed Akhtar Mahmood, Commissioner Syed Naveed Haider Shirazi, Deputy Commissioner Naveed Ahmad, Assistant Commissioner Wazirabad, President Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce & Industry Ali Humayun Butt, and other senior officials.
