A grand collective wedding ceremony for 75 couples from Jhang and Chiniot was organized under the Punjab "Dhee Rani Program" at Jhang on the directives of Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz. Provincial Minister for Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal, Sohail Shaukat Butt, was the chief guest. Secretary Social Welfare Javed Akhtar Mahmood, Commissioner Marium Khan, Deputy Commissioner Jhang Ali Akbar Bhindar, Deputy Commissioner Chiniot Safiullah Gondal, former MPAs, and other dignitaries were also present. Newlywed couples received Rs. 100,000 in salami through salami cards, along with essential household gifts, including furniture and kitchen items. The event featured cultural performances and a lunch for attendees, reflecting CM Punjab’s commitment to public welfare and support for brides from all communities.
