Under the Chief Minister Punjab’s Dhee Rani Program Phase-II, a grand mass wedding ceremony was held in Layyah where 120 couples, including 2 Christian couples, tied the knot. Each couple received Rs. 100,000 as salami and Rs. 122,000 for gifts through an ATM card. The event was graced by Secretary Social Welfare Javed Akhtar Mehmood, DC Amira Bedar, former MPAs, and community leaders. Highlights included prayers, cultural performances, and a one-dish meal for all guests.
