On the directions of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, Provincial Minister for Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Sohail Shaukat Butt visited Sohdra (Gujranwala), where he distributed ration among affected families and shawls to women. He assured that the Social Welfare Department, district administration, and NGOs are working tirelessly to support the victims and emphasized that no one will be left alone in this difficult time. Later, the Provincial Minister visited Gujrat along with Provincial Minister for Industries & Commerce Chaudhry Shafay Hussain. At Fawara Chowk, they distributed ration bags, flour sacks, and clean water jerry cans among 1,000 affected families. The affected families appreciated the efforts of the Chief Minister and the Provincial Ministers.
