Persons with disabilities are encouraged to register with the Social Welfare Department Punjab to ensure their social and economic well-being. Through this initiative, they can benefit from the Himmat Card, which provides a quarterly stipend of Rs. 10,500, as well as access to assistive devices such as wheelchairs, prosthetics, and hearing aids. They will also have opportunities for technical education to learn vocational skills and for employment to secure job placements.
