Under CM Punjab "ADWC program" assistive devices distributed in Rawalpindi, Pakpattan, and Jhelum

 Assistive Devices Wheelchair Program: On the special instructions of Chief Minister Punjab Ms. Maryam Nawaz Sharif, and under the leadership of Provincial Minister for Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal Punjab Mr. Sohail Shaukat Butt, assistive devices were distributed among persons with disabilities in special ceremonies held in Rawalpindi, Pakpattan, and Jhelum. These events are part of the Punjab Government’s mission to empower differently-abled individuals and help them live more independent and dignified lives. Wheelchairs, walkers, walking sticks, hearing aids, and other essential support equipment were handed over to deserving individuals, bringing ease and mobility to their everyday lives. In Rawalpindi, 51 individuals received assistive devices during a ceremony at Fatima Jinnah Women University, attended by MNA Ms. Tahira Aurangzeb, DC Hassan Waqar Cheema, and MPA Zaib-un-Nisa Awan. In Pakpattan, 20 persons with disabilities and 3 special children were given wheelchairs, while 2 others received walkers. The event took place at the Municipal Committee Hall under the chair of ADC Shagufta Jabeen, with participation from local MPAs, Social Welfare officials, and community members. In Jhelum, 37 individuals were provided with devices during a well-attended event at Taj Marquee, where Chief Minister’s Advisor on Health, Gen. (R) Azhar Mehmood Kayani, was the chief guest. A special meal was also arranged for the beneficiaries and their families.
