Minister for Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Punjab, Sohail Shaukat Butt, chaired the second meeting of the Steering Committee for the "Dhee Rani Program." Special Assistant Zeeshan Malik, Secretary SW&BM ,Secretary Women Development ,Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner Lahore and others attended the meeting. Director General Social Welfare, Khawaja Muhammad Sikandar Zishan, briefed the Committee members regarding program’s progress. The initiative of collective marriage ceremonies will officially commence in December 2024, with the first event to be held in Lahore. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif will inaugurate the program, marking the start of this meaningful welfare initiative.
