Provincial Minister Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Punjab, Sohail Shaukat Butt, paid a surprise visit to the Social Welfare Complex Township, Lahore. During the visit, he carried out a detailed inspection of various institutions operating under the department, including Center for Intellectually Challenged Children, Skill Development Center for PWDs, Old Age Home, Women Transitional Home and Half-Way House. He personally assessed the quality of services and facilities being provided to children, senior citizens, women, and persons with disabilities residing in these institutions. Engaging with residents and staff, he inquired about their needs and challenges. He also directed the In-charge officers of said institutions to submit a comprehensive performance report covering the past year to evaluate and improve service delivery.
