The Social Welfare Department Punjab, in collaboration with UNICEF, organized a special event to mark Universal Children's Day 2024, aimed at raising awareness about the rights, care, and education of children. The event featured vibrant performances by children, including a puppet show, gymnastics, a quiz competition, theater, an inclusive performance from special children and many others. MS. Sumaira Samad, Chairperson of CMIT graced the occasion as the chief guest. Director General Social Welfare, Khawaja Muhammad Sikandar Zishan welcomed all the guests and emphasized the significance of protecting and promoting children's rights in his opening remarks. The Child Protection Officer UNICEF Azlan Butt also attended the event. The Director Programs, Zaib Waseem, Executive Director Al-Hamra Arts Council, officers from various departments and a large number of enthusiastic children, making it a memorable celebration.
