In pursuance of directions issued by the Honorable Supreme Court of Pakistan regarding issuance of CNIC to the members of transgender community, a meeting was held on 2-06-2018 at 10:00 AM under the chairmanship of Dr. Nabeel Javed, Secretary to the Government of Punjab, Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal Department in the committee room of Directorate General of Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal, Punjab to discuss the methodology for facilitation of transgender people. Mr. Sajid Zafar Dall, Director General, Directorate General of Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal, Punjab also convened the meeting. The representatives from NADRA, Fountain House, Akhuwat, Punjab Social Protection Authority, Divisional Directors (SW) from nine divisions and representatives of transgender community attended the meeting.
