Visit of Azadi Train by Residents of Institutions of Social Welfare Complex Lahore Dated 16-08-2017

A special ‘Azadi’ train, prepared by the Pakistan Railways to mark the 70th Independence Day of Pakistan, reached at Lahore on 16th August, 2017. In this regard, Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Department arranged a special re-creational visit of all residents of all institutions of Social Welfare Complex Lahore including Aafiyat, Dar-ul-Sakoon, Nasheman, Gehwara, and Chamman. Residents of Dar-ul-Amman & Kashana Lahore were also accompanying with residents of SW Complex. Residents took keen interest in the cultural floats of all the four provinces, including Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.  Mr. Waheed Akhtar Ansari, Director General, Directorate General of Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal Punjab was the chief guest. He spent the whole day with residents and enjoyed their company.
