Social Welfare Department celebrated Independence Day on 14-08-2017 by organizing programs at different institutions and projects. Mr. Waheed Akhtar Ansari, Director General, Directorate General of Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal, Punjab graced the events. Flag hosting ceremony was arranged and attended by DG at Social Welfare Training Institute. Cake was cut by DG and program was also attended by DG. The children and residents of different institutions of SWD presented tablos and sang national songs. Ceremony arranged by MSSP Shahdra Hospital Lahore was also attended by DG.
