A series of meetings has been held with disabled persons regarding 3% quota under the chairmanship of Director General, Directorate General of Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal, Punjab on 26-07-2016, 27-07-2016 and 01-08-2016. In meeting three categories of disabled persons including deaf and dumb, visually impaired and physically handicapped participated. To facilitate the meeting a translator was managed so that the conversation may be communicated to deaf and dumb through signs and their view point may be communicated to authorities. Other issues of disability were also discussed in the meeting.
