Mr. Ghazanfar Abbas Cheena Minister for Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Pubjab Visited Office of Secretary Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Department. The Secretary SW&BM Waqas Ali Mahmood welcomed the Minister SW&BM and hoped that under the leadership of Minister the Department will perform more effectively. Mr. Suleman Director P&E gave detailed presentation on roles and functions of the Department. The Director General SW&BM Faiz Naeem Warraich, Mr. Irshad Waheed Director General Women Protection Authority, Directors, Deputy Directors and Section Officers of the Department attended the briefing. Minister Social welfare on the occasion stated that since Department is working for the marginalized communities hence if we together will improve the service delivery, it will not only give benefit to community but also Allah Almighty will be happy with us. He therefore stressed the need to work as a team and improve the services.
