Director General Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal Mr. Muddassir Riaz Malik inaugurated a seven-day training session at Social Welfare Training Institute Township under the auspices of Social Welfare Department. The workshop session was attended by psychologists from 36 districts of Punjab. During the training session, psychologists were trained to counsel women visiting Dar-ul-Aman. Psychologists were told how to treat women victims of violence in Dar-ul-Aman. In addition, they were also taught how to train women victims of violence and their families mentally. Mr. Riaz Malik said that the Department of Social Welfare is working to further improve Dar-ul-Aman. The purpose of the seven-day training session is to further refine the work of psychologists
