The 1st Chief Minister Punjab Special Games 2025 began in Lahore with a grand opening ceremony, where Provincial Minister for Social Welfare Sohail Shaukat Butt attended as the Chief Guest, alongside Provincial Minister for Sports & Youth Affairs Faisal Ayub Khokhar and Minister for C&W Malik Sohaib Ahmed Bharth, among other dignitaries. The three-day event brought together nearly 500 special athletes competing in nine sports disciplines. The Games featured competitive events and a musical night, and concluded with a closing and prize distribution ceremony, where Secretary Social Welfare Javed Akhtar Mahmood and Director General Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Muhammad Tariq Qureshi awarded cash prizes, medals, and certificates, promoting inclusion and empowerment through sports.
