Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Department participated in three-day WEXNET Exhibition held at Expo center Lahore under the umbrella of Trade & Development Authority of Pakistan. The primary objective of this exhibition was to promote the women entrepreneurship by showcasing their products. The Department set up over 15 stalls of Sanatzar (District Industrial Home) at the event. The exhibition was meticulously planned and executed under the leadership of Mr. Muddassir Riaz Malik, Director General of SW&BM. Dr. Javed Akram, Minister of Social Welfare inaugurated the Sanatzar Expo of Social Welfare Department. On the first day of the exhibition, prominent figures including Mrs. Shehla Javaid Akram, Mr. Wahab Riaz (Advisor to Chief Minister on Sports), Ms. Sumaira Samad (Secretary of Women Development), Qasim Ali Shah paid visit to the stalls. On the sideline, an exciting painting competition was organized among divisions to showcase their artistic talent.
