Director General Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal Punjab Muddassir Riaz Malik along with five civil servants of the country were honored with the "Integrity Icon 2023" award in recognition of their impactful work, integrity and contribution towards improving service delivery. These officers were crowned at the annual award ceremony where officers of US and Denmark Embassy, academicians, representatives of civil society and a large number of university students were present. Apart from Muddassir Riaz Malik, the civil servants who were selected for the "Integrity Award" of the year 2023 include Dr. Sania Hameed Pasha Assistant Commissioner Sadar Zone Islamabad, Dr Shaukat Hayat Deputy MD Merged Areas Education Foundation, Jameel Baloch Deputy Commissioner Pishin and Javed Sonharo Jiskani DIG Larkana. DG Social Welfare Muddassir Riaz Malik has previously served as Deputy Commissioner of various districts including Lahore, Commissioner DG Khan Division as well as DG Punjab Food Authority. As DC Lahore, he established world's largest drive-thru vaccination center and got vaccinated 4 million doses of Covid Vaccine in Lahore. “Integrity Icon” award is part of annual campaign to celebrate the most honest and hardworking government employees all over the country!
