Social Welfare Department Punjab and MUSAWI organization have signed a Letter of Intent to express their willingness to work together for women rights. Director General Social Welfare Punjab Muddassir Riaz Malik, CEO Musawi Ms. Fatima Yasmin Bokhari signed Letter of Intent in the presence of Directors and other officials . As per the cooperation, both parties will establish a two-way referral mechanism to provide holistic assistance, comprising free legal aid to the women on marriage rights, support in policy reforms, interventions and advocacy for the betterment of shelter & protection services at SWD Institutions such as Dar-ul-Aman & Dar-ul-Falah. It is aimed at raising awareness of women rights through community engagement.
