A multi-stakeholder consultation session on framing the "Punjab Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Rules 2023" was held by Social Welfare Department Punjab in collaboration with UNFPA. Opening remarks of the session were given by Director General Social Welfare Punjab Muddassir Riaz Malik. Drafted Rules to promote and ensure inclusion of PWDs and protect their rights were thoroughly discussed in the session. Minister Social Welfare Prof. Dr. Javed Akram graced the Consultative session as chief guest. He addressed the audience and gave souvenirs to the participants.
