Consultative Meeting on drafting Disability friendly PC-1 checklist was held in the committee room of Directorate General Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Punjab in collaboration with Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives and World Health Organization (WHO). Director General Social Welfare Muddassir Riaz Malik chaired the session in the presence of various Stakeholders including officials from Administrative Departments, Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), NGOs and Civil Society Representatives. DG Social Welfare assured that every effort would be made to ensure accessibility, mobility and inclusion of PWDs in mainstream society. This check list will go a long way in developing PWDs friendly PC-1 to ensure accessibility to PWDs.
