Social Welfare department in collaboration with "UNFPA" organized two days conference on "Reforming District Industrial Homes "SANATZAR" to create opportunities for women survivors of violence" held at Ramada hotel Lahore. Mr. Muddassir Riaz Malik, Director General Social Welfare Department, highlighted the significance of the conference. Director Programmes Mrs. Zaib Waseem presented detail presentation on objectives and working of Sanatzars. Focal Person UNFPA Ms.Tania Durrani also gave remarks related to the conference. Divisional Directors SWD gave presentation on working and progress including initiatives achievements and challenges facing by Sanatzars of their related divisions. Experts conducted sessions on Training, Designing, Production and Marketing & Branding. At "Sanatzar Conference" a special presentation given by Director CRPD Muhammad Irfan Gondal on #ENABLE" an online portal to connect Person With Disabilities (PWD) with Donors for provision of assistive devices", with special reference to Women with Disabilities.
