A Consultative Session regarding "Action Plan to Accelerate the Implementation of Women Related Legislation" started with the opening remarks of Director General Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal, Punjab Mr. Muddassir Riaz Malik. Dr. Ameena Mohyuddin Zia, Visiting Professor at The Herbert H. Lehman Leadership Development Center at the City University of New York joined the consultative session via zoom to give her kind remarks over the "Effective Policy Implementation" regarding the women related legislation. Ms. Sumaira Sammad, Secretary Women Development Department Dr. Saeed-ul-Hassan, Deputy Head British High Commission/FCDO and Ms. Haya Zahid, Chief Executive Officer Legal Aid Society have put their expert remarks during the consultative session. Panel discussion also conducted on the action plan/ recommendations to Accelerate the Implementation of Women Related Legislations, "Anti-Rape Act 2021"& "Punjab protection of women against violence Act 2016".Minister Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Punjab, Prof. Dr. Javed Akram graced the Consultative session as guest of honor and addressed to participants. He also distributed shields among the guests along with Secretary Social Welfare Zahoor Hussain and DGSW Muddassir Riaz Malik.
