Social Welfare Department Punjab and International Organizations reiterated their resolve to further enhance their working collaboration for protection and promotion of women rights. The commitment was made at a consultative meeting chaired by Muddassir Riaz Malik DG Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Punjab with the representatives of International Organizations. Participants discussed different measures and steps for eradication of Gender-based violence and to promote the rights of children, women, PWDs, religious minorities and other vulnerable groups. DG Punjab Women Protection Authority Irshad Waheed, Andrew Borden (FCDO), Latika Maskey (UNFPA), Saliha Ramay (UNFPA), Ali Naqvi (FCDO), Arshad Mahmood (British Council) and other stakeholders were present on the occasion.
