Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal department Punjab in collaboration with Lahore Chamber of Commerce Industries organized an Eid gifts Distribution ceremony at Social Welfare Complex for the residents of the Social Welfare institutions. Provincial Minister Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Sohail Shaukat Butt honored the event as chief guest, Secretary Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Iqbal Hussain, President Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industries Kashif Anwar were along with him. Director General Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal Amina Munir welcomed the guests and thanked the Lahore Chamber of Commerce for supporting the gift distribution ceremony. On this occasion, various gifts including clothes and accessories were distributed among the children, widows, elderly and special people living in social welfare institutions. While addressing the audience, Provincial Minister Social Welfare Sohail Shaukat Butt said that the Social Welfare Department is trying to bring positive change in the lives of poor and vulnerable sections. He also announced the provision of medical health unit facility in Social Welfare Complex. Later, the Provincial Minister along with Secretary and DG Social Welfare visited institutions.
