Provincial Minister Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal, Sohail Shaukat Butt, had a significant meeting with U.S. Consul General Ms. Kristin K. Hawkins. The discussions focused on Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal department initiatives. Sohail Shaukat Butt briefed the Consul General on various public welfare programs, emphasizing that the development and rehabilitation of vulnerable women, abounded children, and Persons with disabilities are top priorities for the Punjab government. The US Consul General appreciated the efforts of Social Welfare Department Punjab for the well being of marginalized segment of the society, especially women related initiatives. During the meeting, the U.S. Consul General offered support for Punjab's Social Welfare projects.
