A advisory meeting of stake holders on new draft law was held to empower Persons with Disabilities under the Department of Social Welfare Syed Yawar Abbas Bukhari attended the meeting specially. On this occasion, members of Provincial Assembly Saadia Sohail Rana Sameera Ahmed, Zainab Umar Advocate, Secretary Social Welfare, Director General, Advocate General Punjab, Azhar Siddique Advocate, Special Persons Representatives and prominent personalities of different schools of thought were also present. In the advisory meeting, a detailed discussion was held on the draft law for the betterment of special people, especially the suggestions of the representatives of the special persons were considered. In his address, the Minister of Social Welfare Punjab said that special people are not only young children, every one. Victims of age and every physical problem deserve the attention of the society. He said that all steak holders are being consulted on the directions of Lahore High Court. Empowerments of Persons with Disability Bill will be approved before December Syed Yawar Abbas Bukhari said that under the guidance of Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, for the first time, a comprehensive law is being made for special persons in Punjab that will cover all their demands.
