Secretary Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Department Punjab, Mr Iqbal Hussain met a joint delegation of World Health Organization (WHO) and ATScale comprising of Mr Pascal Bijleveld CEO of ATScale, Senior Programme Manager Mr Henri Bonnin and Dr. Maryam of WHO. ATScale shall provide a 5 million$ grant to Pakistan titled “Scaling-up vision and hearing screening and provision of assistive technology to school-aged children in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (2024-2027)”. DG Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Ms. Amina Munir, Director Planning & Evaluation M.Suleman, Director CRPD Irfan Gondal were present in the meeting. Both sides expressed their eagerness and commitment to work for the program jointly to fulfill the assistive devices needs of the children in need.
