Provincial Minister for Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Punjab, Sohail Shaukat Butt, met with the newly recruited officers of the Council on Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) and congratulated them on assuming their responsibilities. He encouraged them to work with dedication for the welfare and empowerment of persons with disabilities. He stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the Government of Punjab is ensuring the provision of improved facilities and support for persons with disabilities. He also highlighted that the target of including 100,000 persons with disabilities in the Himmat Card Program during the current year has been successfully achieved. Director CRPD, Muzammil Yar, was also present on the occasion.
