Under the CM Punjab Dhee Rani Program, collective marriages were held in Faisalabad and Toba Tek Singh

Under the vision of Chief Minister Punjab, Ms. Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the Dhee Rani Program continues successfully across the province to ensure the dignified marriages of deserving girls. In this regard, collective marriage ceremonies were held on the same day in Faisalabad and Toba Tek Singh, where a total of 163 deserving couples were married with dignity and honor. In Faisalabad, 111 couples tied the knot, including daughters from the Christian community and daughters of prisoners, while in Toba Tek Singh, 52 deserving couples, including couples from minority communities, were married. The ceremonies were graced by Provincial Minister for Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Punjab, Mr. Sohail Shaukat Butt, as the Chief Guest. Director General Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Punjab, Mr. Muhammad Tariq Qureshi, attended both events. In Faisalabad, the event was also attended by Commissioner Raja Jahangir Anwar and Members of the Provincial Assembly Azad Ali Tabassum, Jafar Hocha, and Faqir Hussain Dogar, while in Toba Tek Singh, Deputy Commissioner Umar Abbas Meelai, political representatives, and senior officers were also present. Under the Dhee Rani Program, each bride and groom was provided with wedding attire, brides received jewelry, and 200,000 salami was disbursed through ATM cards by the Government of Punjab. Addressing the ceremonies, the Provincial Minister stated that the target of arranging marriages for 5,000 deserving girls would be achieved by the end of February.
