Mass Weddings Held Under CM Maryam Nawaz’s “Dhee Rani Program" in Muzaffargarh and Layyah

Under the Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif “Dhee Rani Program", dignified mass wedding ceremonies were held on the same day in two districts Muzaffargarh and Layyah . At Muzaffargarh Sports Ground, 207 deserving couples, including 3 non-Muslim and 4 differently-abled couples, were married in a graceful ceremony. Provincial Minister for Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal Punjab, Sohail Shaukat Butt, attended as the Chief Guest. The event was also attended by Member of Provincial Assembly Ajmal Chandia, MPA Aoun Hameed Dogar, Director General Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Muhammad Tariq Qureshi, Deputy Commissioner Usman Tahir Jappa, DPO Syed Ghazanfar Ali Shah, and other senior officials. Meanwhile, in Layyah, 370 deserving couples began their new lives together in another grand ceremony under the same program. Addressing the gathering, Minister Sohail Shaukat Butt described the Dhee Rani Program as a historic welfare initiative reflecting the Chief Minister’s people-centric vision, stating that the program embodies the state’s responsibility toward daughters by helping them start their married lives with dignity and by bringing joy to their families. The ceremony was attended by MPA Samia Atta Shahani, former parliamentarians, DG Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Muhammad Tariq Qureshi, Deputy Commissioner Asif Ali Dogar, DPO Hassan Javed, and other district officials and guests. At the conclusion of both ceremonies, the Provincial Minister distributed ATM cards among the newlywed couples and took Memorable photographs with them.
