A flag hoisting ceremony was organized by the Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal department, Punjab on the occasion of Independence Day, August 14th 2024 . The event was graced by the Provincial Minister Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Punjab, Sohail Shaukat Butt, as the chief guest. The Secretary Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Department Punjab, Iqbal Hussain Khan, Director General Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Mal Punjab, Amina Munir, other officers of the department, employees, orphaned children, elderly people, and destitute women residing in social welfare institutions attended the ceremony. On this occasion, the Provincial Minister hoisted the national flag, planted a tree to highlight the importance of tree plantation, and prayed for the well-being of Pakistan. At the end of the ceremony, the Provincial Minister cut a cake with the participants.
