Social Welfare Department Punjab conducted a consultative workshop at Social Welfare Training Institute to formulate Social Welfare Policy with the collaboration of UNICEF. Director General Social Welfare Punjab Muddassir Riaz Malik, Directors, Deputy Directors & other officers attended the workshop. Dr. Osama Siddique serves as the consultant leading this policy formulation process which is aimed at improving institutional services and expanding welfare programs for vulnerable segments of society. The participants discussed the various areas of services of the Social Welfare Department and ancillary matters with the consultant.
